Hey! I’m Chris, a 34 year-old British/American returning to Singapore after a two year diversion to Hong Kong - I’ll be rejoining my local team to deliver projects in sustainable transport across SE Asia.

I’m moderately ok at running, cycling, bouldering/climbing, cooking and (these days) context engineering - my party days are over (I wake up naturally at 6am lol), but am still looking for a balanced home life with a good mix of staying healthy, socialising and getting work done so a robot doesn’t replace me. I will likely travel a lot within the region except would hope to host my partner (who is in California) a few times through the year.

I’ve lived in flatshares all across the world (Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong & London), and my previous SG roomies (from this site) group were a great match - we’d probably still be living together if they didn’t have to go get married…

In terms of housing, I’m looking for: •A room $3,000 or under (if agents are selling whole places I can go up to $4k). •Move in ideally before end of November. •Minimally furnished (white goods and a bed frame is all I need, I have a container coming from HK) •Originally looking at Paya Lebar, Bedok (places with a nice supermarket on the EW line) but could consider e.g. Tiong Bahru or River Valley. •High-spec housing with good cooking facilities •Nice to have bike storage, pool and/or gym
