We’re looking for someone to take over a lovely room in our charming shophouse in the Jalan Besar area from July 1 (move-in date flexible; pro-rate for mid-July available as well). This place has become home for all of us, and we’re hoping to find someone who’ll not only enjoy the space but also become part of our little family. 🛏️ The Room Bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed — the room features high ceilings, great natural light, and ample storage. The bathroom (shared with two others) is literally just two steps away, making it both private and convenient. The rooms comes with the bed (bed frame and mattress) and coffee table 🙂

🏠 The House If you love clean lines, wood tones, and cozy vibes, you’ll feel right at home here. Our 1950s modern-style shophouse blends heritage charm with a minimalist aesthetic — think white brick walls, concrete textures, and warm wooden furniture softened by rugs and throws.

The common area is a sprawling 1,000 sqft open space with a living room, kitchen, and alfresco dining area — perfect for dinner parties, movie nights, or lazy weekends.

👯 The Housemates You’ll be joining a friendly, easygoing group of four professionals from Germany, the US, and Indonesia. Despite our different backgrounds, the house feels balanced and relaxed — big enough for privacy, yet social when you want it. We’ve even created a simple “housemate agreement” that keeps things smooth and drama-free.

📍 The Location Nestled in the heart of Jalan Besar, the neighborhood has blossomed into one of Singapore’s trendiest areas — full of independent cafes, restaurants, and bars. The house is conveniently located between three MRT lines:

City Square Mall (5 minutes away) has everything you need: Fairprice, Don Don Donki, Decathlon, GV cinema, and great dining options (lots of vegetarian-friendly spots!). You’ll also find two Anytime Fitness gyms and an ActiveSG gym ($3/entry) within 500m.
