Bruce's room

It’s an air-conditioned, partially furnished (includes mattress, desk, and built in wardrobe) common bedroom in a 3-bedroom HDB flat, on the fourth floor, with lift access. Flat comes with a large living room, plus a basic kitchen (induction stove, fridge, kettle, rice cooker, oven, washing machine) and a shared bathroom.

Fairly chill neighbours from what I’ve seen so far. The flat is right next to Tampines Central Park, making for a fairly short (about 7 minutes) and pleasant walk to Our Tampines Hub, for food, groceries, and other amenities. It takes about another 10 minutes on foot to get to the main transport hub and larger malls. Closer at hand we’re just around the corner from Tampines Central Community Complex, which has a small supermarket and some coffee shops.

The other two roomies are myself and another guy, working in the creative industry with flexible hours. I’d say we’re fairly easygoing and chill if you want to have friends over now and then.

The landlord is a fairly distant figure that we only really interact with for house maintenance issues as they arise, so we don’t really have the sort of weird rules that arise with live-in landlords.
