Your room includes:

• a single bed frame, with new set of mattress and pillow
• tv connected to local broadcasts (but hook your laptop/computer up with the HDMI cable and you get a sizeable display for online streaming)
• aircon
• floor fan
• built-in wardrobe (4 doors, floor to ceiling)

You’re free to switch out/add on your own preferred furnishing. Our home also just underwent some improvement works by the government like renovated bathroom, new set of lights and air-conditioning unit, deep cleaning of the home and furnishings, and fresh coats of paint.

Very light cooking is acceptable and that excludes stir-frying too.

Amenities around the area:

• There are shelters linked all the way to the main road, bus stops, and across the bridge to the other side of the station where many shops, wet market and 24hr supermarkets NTUC and Sheng Shiong are easily accessed
• 24hr Giant supermarket at the station
• Two 7-11s
• A train stop away from Northpoint City shopping mall & Yishun Bus Interchange, I’ve cycled/walked a couple of times (~20mins)
• Bus services to airport, CBD, Thompson etc.
• Orto (previously Bottle Tree Park)

1. Me - 27 years old, digital product designer I work from home at the moment, so I’ll be in my room a lot. I’ve had the opportunity to rent a room outside in the past, so I’m looking forward to have a housemate rather than owner-tenant relations.

2. Owner of the house, my mum - 58 years young Passionate about cooking, baking and Japanese culture. Easygoing, semi-retired, speaks English, Japanese, Mandarin and Hokkien.
