We have 2 rooms available in this apartment (master bedroom and common room) starting from 8 October 2023 in an airy and open Tiong Bahru apartment.

The master bedroom (this listing) with ensuite bathroom

A very large bedroom with an ensuite private bathroom, queen sized bed, recently upgraded AC, 3-door cupboards, fully furnished with a table, mirror, lamps, bedside tables, clothing rack, etc. There are two windows in the bedroom, which makes it a very well-ventilated and comfortable space. The ensuite bathroom is spacious and in good condition, and comes with a 3-tier shelf. Individuals are preferred but couples are definitely welcome to apply.

Utilities for each person is at an average of about $60ish/month (including wifi, water, and electricity).

No landlord on site (and he never shows up unless it’s for lease or contract extensions) Cooking and visitors are ALLOWED! We have a full spice rack in the kitchen, with a communal use electric stove, rice cooker, oven, microwave, coffee press, blender (and many other kitchen accessories that you are free to use).

We have a good washing machine in the kitchen, but we do not have a dryer. There are clotheslines in the living room and since it’s so well-ventilated, your clothes get dried in about a day and a half at most. If you do need a dryer, there is also a laundromat in the HDB block 3 minutes away.

About the apartment: 5 minutes walk to Tiong Bahru MRT station/Tiong Bahru Plaza. 15min commute to CBD, Orchard, River Valley, etc by bus or train. 24 hour Giant supermarket and coffeeshops right across the road. Cute cafes and awesome hawker food at Tiong Bahru market, just a 10 minute walk away.

About the apartment: a 3-bedroom house on a high floor with a good view (a little steam-punky, it’s quite cool). This is a HDB with elevators. A large, spacious living room with good light and ventilation, lots of plants, open-concept environment with large windows and working space in the living room. It’s a great communal space.

Unfortunately, no pets are allowed long-term. If you wanna bring a friend or family’s pet in for a playdate or for pet sitting, that’s totally fine, but unfortunately we don’t have a dedicated space or pet-proofing for furry friends.

We intend to find someone who can live in this space harmoniously for the next 1 to 2 years, so we are looking for individuals who can commit to 1 year at the minimum, best 2 years.

Lastly, only roomies accounts with legitimate profile pictures and a filled-out descriptions will be entertained. In your message, please let us know some basic information about yourself, how long you will be staying for.

***Note: The landlord is pretty reasonable in our experience, but he will want a 1-year contract at the minimum. As I am the main tenant, I will need to pass on the lease to at least 1 other person. If you are willing to take on the lease, your move-in will be prioritized!

You will be staying with Monica, an awesome person and incredible healthcare professional who deserves the world. Michelle and Elouise, are leaving the apartment. Michelle is moving to be closer to her work, and Elouise is moving abroad for her masters degree. During the viewings you will get to meet all 3 of us! Viewings begin early August.
