About the room
RENT DETAILS
Room’s available now. I’m okay with doing a short term rent (3 months onwards) with the possibility to extend. You would be able to register your address here. I’m also ok with couples - roomies allows only couples or male and female (no couples) as preferred gender, when actually I’m good with both xD However I’d need to add 20% on rent for each new person renting here.
Bills included - utilities, wifi, twice monthly general cleaning, quarterly aircon cleaning. Visitors and cooking allowed. No pets (except fish/terrapin).
ABOUT THE FLAT
Super convenient location, near the Queenstown Library, and Dawson Fairprice. The new hawker centre with a supermarket just opened, too. We are also very near the Commonwealth MRT food court, where there is also a Sheng Siong. We’re 1 bus stop away from Queenstown/Commonwealth mrt in either direction, or a 10-minute walk. As for amenities, we have a swimming pool, function room + bbq, gym, and jacuzzi pool. We’re on a high floor with a good view, super breezy on most days.
No background check required, but I’d like to take a look at your ID to make sure it’s valid.
ABOUT THE COMMON AREAS
We have a shared fridge and kitchen appliances (induction cooker, oven, air fryer, pressure cooker), free to use as long as you clean up after. Visitors (including overnight) are allowed initially, but it’s a privilege we may revoke if you don’t clean up after yourself or disturb others.
We also have a pull-up bar and a hammock in the balcony. The washing machine is a combined washer-dryer.
ABOUT THE MASTER BEDROOM
The bed itself is a storage bed with plenty of space underneath. There’s a table in the room you can use as well and reposition. It’s usually at the foot of the bed, but we took it out for cleaning. You’ll also have a very spacious closet to yourself. There is also a big toilet attached to the room.
About the roomies
WHY STAY WITH US?
The location is great - we’re near downtown, and also near the one-north area. The condo is new, with most people moving in from 2022 onwards. As such the facilities - swimming pool, jacuzzi, children’s pool, gym, lounge, BBQ pit and function room - are very new. Specifically for us, as a landlord I aim to be transparent and discuss issues. We have a house chat to coordinate visitors and announcements. I also bought multi-type extension plugs in the house so you won’t need to worry about adapters. We also have regular cleaning and aircon maintenance for the entire place.
ABOUT YOU
In short, our ideal housemate would be clean and considerate. We have a rule that the aircon should only be as cold as 24 degrees celsius. In your room, you would also make sure it’s free of trash. If you bring visitors, you will make sure they clean up after themselves too.
ABOUT US
It’s me (female) the owner and my partner living in the common room, sharing the toilet with another tenant. I’m 25 and he’s 27 years old, both working in IT.
We have 1 male student housemate in the study room, his lease ends 15 November 2023, but he may extend and continue.
Bonus points - I host friends from other countries from time to time. If you are able to accommodate it’d be great. Otherwise that’s fine too - it’s more a nice to have.
