The Tanjong Katong/Mountbatten estate is a sought-after, conserved, and family-friendly neighbourhood just a 10-15min drive from the CBD. The building’s name is Chelsea Lodge.

You will get:

• Your own fully furnished bedroom with a queen sized bed in a fully furnished house.

• Your own private common bathroom (Bathroom not attached but all yours)

• Linens, towels, bedsheets will be provided.

The apartment is located in a low-rise conserved area with low-density housing, which is hard to find in Singapore. Stay in the authentic Singapore amongst shophouses and an abundance of local eateries and trendy new neighborhood restaurants, bars and cafes. Local eateries at your doorstep! You will have the benefit of living in a modern building with facilities such as an elevator and a private carpark, but live amidst a pre-war historical neighbourhood. The apartment has recently been completely redone in a modern, cosy, Scandinavian design style, with lots of wood accents and earthy tones. Renovation was completed this year in May 2017. The Canadian International School is on the same street so the neighbourhood is very International, with both local and expat families.

Everything is brand new inside with a homely style. There is a new air-conditioning unit in your room.

For fitness lovers, there is a boxing gym and a yoga studio in the next building and East Coast Park is barely 10 minutes walking distance away. Moreover, there is also the convenience of a small supermarket just around the corner.

The Tanjong Katong Neighbourhood is a very Convenient location:

Shophouse street. Wander around and enjoy the hidden heritage gems. Have the perks of staying on the edge of the historical Katong neighbourhood. To cater to both local and expat families living in the area, specialty many international restaurants have opened in the vicinity with vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options so you never have to worry about cuisine or dietary restrictions.

Just outside the apartment you’ll find the a traditional coffee shop with a fantastic Hainanese chicken rice stall, local fruit stalls, wood oven Italian restaurants, vegetarian eateries, hip cafes, and several ice-cream parlours. For local watering holes, you have BarBar Blacksheep and Tipsy cow just opposite.

If you like outdoor activities it’s just 10 minutes to East Coast Park. Enjoy the fresh sea air, greenery, outdoor activities and restaurants there. The river is also only a short walk away and good for runners.
