About the room
I’m looking for great people to share a beautiful four-bedroom, two-storey condo in Mountbatten. I’ll be the primary tenant on the lease, with the landlord’s permission to sublet the remaining rooms. I’d love to create a home that’s relaxed, welcoming and genuinely enjoyable to live in. I’m still close friends with many former flatmates!
The Apartment: A spacious, south facing two-storey condo with fantastic natural light, a second upstairs living area and a private terrace. The building features cute, private little swimming pools. • No live-in landlord. • Four bedrooms and four bathrooms (including private bathrooms for both “common” rooms). • Excellent privacy, with bedrooms separated by bathrooms and shared spaces. • Shared living areas will be largely furnished. • Bedrooms are mostly unfurnished, although I’m hoping to buy some furniture (including beds) from the current tenants.
My Plans: One of the reasons I chose this place is because I think it has loads of potential. I’ll gradually be adding plants, improving the shared spaces and making practical upgrades over time—one of the first being a second fridge in the utility room.
Rooms & Rent: • Downstairs Master: S$2,280/month (ideal for a couple; separate rate for couples) • Upstairs Master: S$2,180/month • Common Room: S$1,740/month Utilities shared equally. Practical Details • Move-in: 12 August • 12-month lease. • I’d like us to split the cost of a weekly cleaner for the common areas.
Location (it’s brilliant): • Opposite Katong Shopping Centre. • Walking distance to East Coast Road, Joo Chiat and i12 Katong. • Excellent bus links into the CBD including numbers 10, 10e, 196. • Around 14 minutes to East Coast Park. • Around 8 minutes to Tanjong Katong MRT.
About the roomies
About Me: I’m Evan, 33, British-Greek, currently completing a Master’s while transitioning into a new industry, and hoping to stay in Singapore long-term. I’m calm, tidy and respectful to live with. I’m social, but mostly in a low-key way—shared dinners, cups of tea, board games or the occasional chat in the kitchen—but I also appreciate everyone’s independence. I enjoy cooking, exercise, piano, books, films, art and exploring new places in the city!
Who I’m Looking For: I’m pretty open-minded about who lives here. What matters far more is finding considerate people who communicate well, look after shared spaces and enjoy a good household atmosphere. If it sounds like a good fit, send me a message. Happy to answer any questions, arrange a viewing, or grab a kopi first :)
