Ankit

Hi, my name is Ankit Jaiswal, and I am currently a PhD student in the Department of Geography at the National University of Singapore (NUS). I am from India, and moved to Singapore in July 2025 to pursue my doctoral studies. I am currently in the second year of my PhD program.

Before joining NUS, I worked in the field of sustainable development with the United Nations in India. I value a peaceful, respectful, and clean living environment.

I am looking to rent a room for approximately one year from August 1st,2026, preferably in a location with convenient access to NUS through cycling and public transport. I would prefer a quiet neighbourhood with limited disturbance and good personal space.

I do not plan to cook regularly, although I would occasionally like to prepare a simple breakfast and make tea in the morning. I am single and do not have a partner. I do have a few close friends and colleagues from the Geography Department at NUS who may visit occasionally.

I am responsible, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces, and I hope to find a comfortable and friendly place to stay during my PhD journey in Singapore.
