The room is a Master bedroom in a landed property (private bathroom). It’s a quiet neighborhood between Eunos and Kaki Bukit with a Giant within walking distance (10 to 15 minutes). Furnishing the room is possible. Depending on your needs, I can sell the furniture to you or get rid of it (aside from the built-in cabinets), including the bed, sofa, desk, and some of the bookshelves. Except for the bed, everything is about a year old, as I got it new from Ikea when I moved in.

The house itself is large with a lot of common space, a kitchen, storage, and some area for growing plants (its the hobby /part of the business of two of the housemates). There’s a washing machine on the first floor. Currently the rent contract is until September, but renewal is very likely, since we put work into the house own (e.g., repainting the walls, installing the sun shade in the back, growing plants). Given market pressures, we’re anticipating a slight increase in rent for the next 2 year contract. On top of rent, there’s also internet (~10$ / month) and utilities (water + electric total about $60). Inside the house is non-smoking.

I’ve put work into making the room comfortable and I would love to stay, but I’ve taken a job in another country so I need to move out. I’m hoping to find a replacement to rent the room for the next six months - someone who is chill / professional and who can contribute to keeping the house straightened and cleaned once in awhile (~once a month).

There are currently four people living here (3 singaporeans), and all are professional / working women in their late twenties / early thirties. They’re clean (we have a rotating cleaning schedule) and friendly. One of them is a piano teacher, so there are sometimes young students in the house, though they use a separate entrance and we don’t really see them. Two housemates run a small art-based business out of the ground floor. There is a cat named Kimchi who is sweet but mostly hides. She is not allowed in my room, and so while I have a cat allergy, living here has not been a problem. Note that there are some problematic cats in the neighborhood, so pets (cats/dogs) are possible but we’d want to discuss it first. The house isn’t a party house, though we have had small gatherings (less than 12 people) once in awhile for work or fun.
