Looking for 1x dog friendly flatmate to take up a common room in a 2-bedroom corner HDB flat in Marine Crescent by the beach. No owner staying. I am staying in the other room, along with my dog. $950/month for the room before internet and utilities, which are about $50-$80/person after splitting. We can also discuss sharing the cost of a part time cleaner. Room is available from 25 June 2022 until 1 April 2023 with a possibility of extension.

About the flat: Spacious (800+sq ft) and welcoming, corner unit- so no disturbance from neighbours passing by. Newly repainted last year. Big common spaces (living room, kitchen) to chill in. I love the coconut trees outside the windows. Fully equipped kitchen and shared split toilet and shower, both retiled last year. There’s also a storage room at the back which can be shared.

About the location: Just an underpass away from East Coast Park, you’ll love the sea breeze and accessibility to the beach. 5 mins walk away, there is a hawker centre, wet market, 24 hour supermarket and other practical neighbourhood stores. 3 bus stops to Parkway Parade. Only 15-20min bus ride to get to Bugis and Suntec City. 10-15min bus ride to Paya Lebar and Dakota. Easy access to Katong, Siglap and Joo Chiat. Peaceful neighbourhood, I’ve been living here for over 5 years and loving it!

About your flatmates: Me, 29 year old female working in a nonprofit organisation and LC, a 6 year old Singapore Special dog. I am from here but have been happily renting for 8 years and counting. I’m fun loving, pretty easy to talk to, love to cook vegetarian food, and I work from home about 50% of the time. LC is a seriously funny dog who loves people and has had no problems charming anyone over, but she does have anxiety during storms so she appreciates any comfort when that happens!

Looking for a single tenant, pets can be considered if they can get along with my dog. Cooking and visitors allowed, as long as shared spaces are always kept clean. Plus points if you have rented elsewhere before.
