A cosy well-furnished bedroom with a nice backyard garden view is available for a potential housemate in my landed home.

This is a rustic and tranquil landed property with a European feel, located in the heart of Serangoon Gardens with mix of local and expat (french and australian) residents. We have 2 gardens with lovely patios located at the front and next to our kitchen where you can grow your own herbs and plants, and an empty drive-in parking space if you have a bike or car.

This home has a total 3 bedrooms. 1 occupied by me. Bathroom/toilet is shared. Huge kitchen with outdoor dining space for decent small dinner parties!

The 2 available rooms (with the white bed) are well-furnished and provides ample storage space under and behind the bed frames, a wardrobe (the other wardrobe stores me/my family stuff), and a desk with drawers. As this is an older photo, the room has since been installed with a set of white curtains and some repainting touches. All rooms are air-conditioned and each comes with a ceiling and standing Dyson fans.

I grow and curate my plants that attract nectar-feeding insects and birds, especially the olive-backed sunbirds, spotted doves and yellow orioles which are our most frequent visitors! You’ll soon be familiarised with the ambient sounds surrounding our home such as our chirping garden birds, the relaxing sounds of my neighbor’s windchimes, the rustling of leaves, and from time to time the roosters and dogs from my neighbors’ homes.

Nearest MRTs: Ang Mo Kio, Serangoon, Lor Chuan Nearby Gyms and Fitness Studios: Anytime Fitness, Yoga Movement, Spartan Boxing Nearest Groceries: 24hr NTUC Finest, Little Farms, Petrol Kioks Nearest Malls: MyVillage (5 min walk or 1 min cycle), NEX (by bus), AMK Hub (by bus) This area is also near to the Australian International School and Lycée français de Singapour.

Bus stops within short walking distances have buses that can take you to those MRT stations as well as Upper Thomson, Macritchie Reserve, Bukit Timah, Orchard, Hougang, Toa Payoh etc.

Ideal for expats and working professionals with a nice blend of local, French and Australian community in this neighbourhood.

Hi i’m Veronica! I’m 30 years old and have been living in Singapore since i was born. I speak English, Mandarin, basic French and Korean. I’m passionate about music, animals, traveling, nature, wildlife conservation, traveling, food, yoga, netflix, investing & economics, and sometimes indulging in the finer things in life :)

My current busy career background ranges from being a private fund manager, a content production manager for a global tech giant, as well as freelance project management, events & artist management. I also run a music collective and organize concerts & parties from time to time. As a landlord, I do take extra great care managing this property and ensure that it is well-maintained and clean (this IS a shared responsibility) that also offers a tranquil, safe, and comfortable space for all my tenants.

My ideal tenant would be someone who is generally responsible in maintaining awesome cleanliness and hygiene around the home, practices the golden rule, has a passion for plants and gardening, as there is an essential shared responsibility to care for my plants when we are not around (please close this tab if this is not suited for you). Must have a good general common sense, great personal hygiene and able to clean up after yourself!
