We’re a Singaporean Chinese couple who’ve been renting for 2 years now, and have been together for 3. We are a drama-free and stable couple so no worries about being woken up by fights. We have 2 very friendly and affectionate cats, as well as a hamster!

Our wish list :

• A place in the central/east area (we love the Katong/Joo Chiat/Marine Parade area)
• Has parking available
• HDB, condo, walk ups are all fine
• Housemates that aren’t strangers (no need to be super chummy but it’d be nice to be on friendly terms and have a chat occasionally!)
• Ok with the occasional visitors, some cooking, and pets.
• Aren’t rowdy in the wee hours of weekday nights (bad experience but we survived with earplugs)
• We’d love to team up!

Space: We’re neat and considerate, especially when it comes to shared spaces. We cook very occasionally, but we definitely clean up after ourselves. Strong internet and a space to work in the common area would be appreciated. Ideally, our cats will be allowed in the common areas- we’ll definitely clean up after them and your property will be respected. We also use an automatic litter box (so no smells!) and our cats don’t scratch furniture.

Socially: We’re friendly and don’t mind hanging out for a drink and a chat with our housemates. We do host small groups of friends occasionally (once every 2-3 months?), but are not rowdy. As we both are self-employed, our schedules are not set, which makes it great if you need someone at home to receive parcels or bring in the laundry! Mostly, you can find us chilling in our room.
